Mike Hardy; Tom Minka
Oct. 20th, 2007 04:14 pmDoes anybody have Mike Hardy's contact info?
I last met him in Boston, when he was a lecturer at MIT. At some point, his web page disappeared. Now, only his Wikipedia user page remains. He seems to be the most prolific wikipedian I've ever met. If you click on the above link, you'll see why.
---
Tom Minka seems to write optimally for someone with my background: clear but not slow. He has written a good glossary.
Many of his research papers seem to be good tutorials.
New algorithm for reading up on Machine Learning and Stats:
* Has Tom Minka written about it?
* If yes, read it.
* If not, Google it.
