rain graph with hourly resolution

I would like to see rain graphs with several time points throughout the day (both recorded and forecast). Is this easy to get?

I have a hypothesis that it rains more at night, as clouds would get colder.

There are graphs of cloud cover thoughout the day since satelites can see that easier.
But of course that wouldn't tell you if it is raining...
though if there is a lot more cloud cover at night, then you you likely infur that that is when it rains.

If the clouds are getting smaller, then that likely means it is raining.

Theoretically, it could be the case that rain and evaporation cancel out at the same time, but that doesn't seem very likely.
