I want to put the My Notebooks part of my website on a Wiki. It seems like it would be a good way to get contacts (i.e. get a higher yield from my visitors).

So each article would have an inviting "Edit This Page" button and, at the end of every page, there would be a Questions & Discussion section as a way of encouraging people to get in touch with me, with an inviting "[+]" button. I could also have the discussion on the article's Talk Page.

Does anyone know a web host that offers Wiki? (there are plenty of free Wikis, but I want one on my domain).

I'm playing with this as well. There are lots and lots of wikis, each with different requirements. What do you have on your server?

I just use the university's web server. Pretty normal. Runs PHP.

You could try

http://phpwiki.sourceforge.net/

I've tried. Was too inept to get it working! But, will try again.

Thanks! Seems like a good idea... except maybe when I have to change web servers!

What was your problem?

I've heard the Wikipedia wiki is also in PHP.
