missing SMSs

I've finally received 3 missing SMSs that were sent during the weekend. I complained to AT&T again earlier today and they gave me $25 credit, but no promises of any kind... I wonder if being away from home confuses the network.

I'm pretty amazed they gave you a credit. The fact of the matter is, SMS does not have reliable delivery, it works almost all the time but you can't trust it, and there's not anything they can probably do about it.
