dealing with multiple injuries

guslSo this morning, my back felt a lot better than yesterday morning. However, my eye was stinging more, and the scratch was slightly redder. I imagine that Naproxen might be responsible for both of the above.
So I went to the Khatsalano clinic near Macdonald, and saw Dr. Owen. She told me that:
* Naproxen shouldn't slow down the healing of my eye.
* However, it thins the blood, which may explain the hemorrhage in my eye getting bigger, causing discomfort.
* It should take another week for the eye scratch to disappear. (Why are doctors' deadlines even less reliable than programmers' deadlines??). If it's not better by then, I should see an ophthalmologist to do some proper imaging.
* She gave me the choice to stop the Naproxen, and prescribed me topical Erythromycin (5mg/g) instead, 4 times / day.
* For the back pain, she prescribed Tramadol Hydrochloride 100mg, once a day. Stopping the pain also promotes healing by preventing spasms.
The clinic and the pharmacy were in the same building, which meant that the pharmacist did a lot more for me than I expected. The doctor used a Palm Pilot, and looked up Naproxen on the drug manual, just to be sure. I found this very honest and respectable.
