retrieving content from the old WWW

guslI just remembered reading a fiction "book" in the form a blog, back when I lived in London (i.e. before 1997). I even printed it. It looked like the website of a guy who regularly received messages/letters from the future and posted them on his blog (this was >5 years before I knew what a blog was)... the story never wrapped up, at least when I last saw it.
The messages were written by 4 boys, one of whom was named Tyler (maybe there was a Shawn also). There is an episode when they meet their younger selves.
It was a fun story, and it's been lost to me, maybe because it's disappeared from the Web, but probably because the few keywords I remember now yield too many matches (can I tell Google to focus on old websites?).
