Seattle

I'm in Seattle. Got in last night and met up with roseandsigil.

I'm waiting for my passport. Walking around, I saw an event in which people turned in their car keys for a month, sponsored by Zipcar. I got myself a 1-year worldwide membership for $15. Then I spun the wheel, and got $10 credit.

I recognized a guy next to me, who turned out to be Jared, the swing dancer. This is my second visit and I've still never gone out in Seattle without finding a CMU person (I think). You'd think San Francisco would be like that, but it's bigger and the CMU people there are more spread out.

That is very Seattle. It's a much smaller town than it looks like.
