buying new sneakers
Jun. 15th, 2002 06:04 pmI just went out to buy new sneakers, as there is now a hole in my 4-year-old shoes. This is always a pain in the ass for me because:
* it takes quite a few tries to get a comfortable one: my feet are wider than most "Wide" models.
* most comfortable sneakers are very expensive.
* I want to be able to wear it at work as well as when I'm biking. So they shouldn't be white, because they would get noticeably dirty.
Anyway, I gave up and got a white one, and now it's drying from the waterproofing (and hopefully stain-proofing).
I may have to get pants soon, which is another pain because I invariably need to have them hemmed.
I guess my body is off the norm in a few ways. Thankfully, I don't need to buy anything for my tongue.
