I've been using my recent free time to unsubscribe from most of the lists I've signed up for over the years (just from CMU: frisbee, capoeira, theatre improv, juggling, ballroom, chicken swing; Pittsburgh: SCA-BMDL, oldtime jams, EMay's newsletter, tango, contact improv). But some of the corporate lists have been quite sticky.
MassageExchange was one. But I think I've succeeded, finally.
Trombi was the other. For a few years, I've been trying to stop receiving email from them. Today, I tried again, and found this at the bottom.
WTF?? I've never heard anyone say that in English! Even spammers aren't so uppity about it.
Then I found this on a Forum (no link because has browser-spam)
Not only does he share my complaint, but his personal information is publically visible to search engines, and they won't let him hide it.

ILOG (who sell constraint satisfaction and linear and quadratic optimization software) have a "REMOVE" link that they simply ignore. Luckily, with google, it's easy to filter them straight to the trash bin.
