Housing; December

guslIn December, I'll hopefully be moving to campus. December is looking really busy: Machine Learning project due, Vision final, NIPS+workshops, grading CS121, and more stuff.
A friend recently suggested Fairview. It's a great location, rather lively, rather close to the UBC Village, and contains a nice café (the Beanery). Fairview is mostly undergrads, but I wonder how many housemates I'd have, and if I can choose to be with older/grad student types. My default choice is Thunderbird (undecided between a quad, studio and 1BR).
In any case, even though you're not nominally allowed to see the room offered to you, they do tell you the exact apartment number, so you can always knock and say hello.
