visa: check
Jul. 29th, 2008 12:00 amI've just received my Canadian student visa + letter to get the study permit.
Plan:
* fly to Seattle in mid-August
* stay a couple of days
* take a bus to Vancouver. I've never before crossed a border on land, outside of Europe. Since my entry will be more complicated than that of Canadians and Americans and foreigners with returning visas, I wonder if my bus would continue without me, and I'd get the next one. Hopefully, they run hourly. OTOH, the border is quite close to Vancouver proper, so maybe my aunt can pick me up from the border itself. It's a 50min drive either way, and this way it's less traffic aggravation.
UPDATE: her husband had the same idea, of picking me up at the border!
