Times are wrong, but timezone is right...

Someone posted this in May, nobody gave a good answer, and I'm having the exact same problem right now. I'm trying to get a Google person to look at this.

How do you search through gmail messages subject headers for a string when it appears only at the beginning of the header?...

I wish Google supported regexp search, which would cover this.
Why don't you ask at the forum?

I had this problem too. I managed to solve it. I don't remember how, though. I remember struggling with it and figuring it out after an hour or two; the solution wasn't obvious.

If you can give me instructions to reproduce, I can file it as a bug. Otherwise there's not much I can do for you, since I don't work on gmail. (With access to the computer it occurs on, I could try to work out how to reproduce it.)
