CCF settlement
May. 30th, 2008 12:06 pmThe deadline for https://www.ccfsettlement.com/ is today. I think they are legit. In the best case, I could make ~$400 (seems unlikely, since my total ATM fees didn't exceed $150 likely, since I converted a ton of dollars into Euros).

Update:
I am choosing Option 3, and I'm remembering the numbers, roughly (my electronic statements don't go more than 2 years back). Apparently, they will get the exact numbers from the bank. So I have to wonder why they ask me to give the estimate in the first place.
I'm afraid that if I claim too much on any given year, they could choose to refuse my claim.

Date: 2008-05-30 08:08 pm (UTC)Since we've lived overseas the entire time period covered, I'm hoping they're generous. It's weird that they don't actually tell you how they'll calculate it.

Date: 2008-05-30 08:17 pm (UTC)The actual calculation is complicated, since they don't yet know all attorney costs, appeals, etc. If there are appeals, it might take a few years for them to pay you. (I don't know who can and can't appeal)
