I'm running Bibwiki! Awesome tool for citing inside articles (just like BibTeX), and a Bibliography manager, where you can edit your bibliographies, sort by author, and even search Arxiv, Amazon, etc for Bib information. One thing it can't do is filter by tags (the next feature should be del.icio.us integration!).

My long-term goal: write my papers in the wiki and convert them into LaTeX with minimal effort.

Hmmm... you lose on the off-line writing that I'm so enamoured of, but you win big on the actually getting your coauthors not to entirely fuck up the repository.

you could still copy the wikitext, edit off-line, and update the wiki later.

I could also stab my eyes out with forks.

another solution: you could make your laptop the server.

Yeah, that might be nice for coauthoring. Most of my potential coauthors don't do LaTeX at all.
