unless you have past experience installing washing machines, i would recommend trying to find someone who will install it for us (e.g. buy from an appliance store and they probably do this by default). i think doing so ourselves is Difficult. but i've never tried.

Renting a U-Haul pickup+dolly may be an option if you can't find someone to deliver; Austin and I did that last month. But this assumes a household member with a driver's license, and a couple household members with the inclination to move a heavy, awkward object up/down stairs.

I'm not a household member, but I'll help lift/haul/drive whatever.

One thing to consider, btw is whether your plumbing is ok for this. Did you ask your landlord whether you can install an appliance?
