looking for rugs

Friday I got rid of the smelly old rug in my bedroom. This exposes my floor's coldness and unevenness and paint specks.

I'm now looking for cheap (used) rugs.

Vaguely near the climbing wall is a place called "the Scrapper". If memory serves, they have discarded carpet samples in great quantity that might fit the bill - you'll need to assemble a great number of them to cover an entire floor, and the effect will be slightly trippy, but they're high quality and quite cheap.

Supplemental - if you head out that way, let me know - I actually would like to pick up some more of these as well, to give extra coverage to some areas I tend to spill tea or areas that my cats have taken a liking to.

What did you do with the old rug? (I ask because I do not know when bulk-item pickup day is.)

It's at the balcony, in 3 pieces. I'm assuming bulk-picked night is the same as trash night, i.e. Monday.

Bulk pick-ups are typically only once a month.

Did you vacuum the floor after you brought your "smelly old rug" over it to get it on the balcony?

Concerned more about the amount of random dirt and such falling out of it, since I am guessing that you did not clean it much, and I appear to be the only one who notices when the floor is all gritty.
