Did the Pittsburgh smoking ban pass? Why is this hard to Google for?

I'm not sure why it's hard to google for, but the answer appears to be "yes" -- despite the moronic state house trying to scuttle it by passing a bill to exempt the casinos from this county ordinance.

Someone told me it had been vetoed... despite the fact that a 14-1 majority can veto the veto. But no reliable sources!

Um... did you click on the link I sent? The third, fourth, and seventh links all indicate Onorato signed the bill. My quote is from link #3. Link #7 is the county press release on the issue.

Thanks. I guess I'm spoiled, since I expect Google's first or second hit to break it down for me.

That's great, and long overdue.

Why difficult to google for? I don't know - isn't Pittsburgh some kind of information universal attractor? Somehow I always find it difficult to get information on whatever is connected to Pittsburgh :)

I suppose there's that the two local papers are in shambles, and the TV stations don't care about anything except "little old lady SADISTICALLY RAPED AND MURDERED by her cat."
