Today: I just came back from playing SOCCER with these Irish dudes. I was driving back from work, when I see them by on the Tufts field by Powderhouse Square. So I jump in, stretch, and start playing. I rocked. Did I ever mention that soccer is my most reliable way to the Tao?

Saturday: Salon at 7pm, I get there early to hear Mike's talk. It was one of those things which are so awesome that it suspends your judgement. I was almost overcome by emotion. What's funny is that I can barely remember what was so awesome about it. So maybe I'm just insane.

From there I went to Wes's party for about two hours and had a *DRINK*(!). Then, I decided to make an appearance at Steve Hoey's party before going to bed. Steve is this dude I met at an MIT dance thing in January. He was the VJ (video jockey), but let people make their contributions. The psychodelic images were produced through video feedback: the camera was pointed to a TV showing the camera's output.

Anyway, I get to the party, say Hi, and soon I notice that there are about 15 guys around, but no girls. Hmm... suspicious.
So I decide to look around for signs of homosexuality, and sure enough I see some tight pants, some shirtless jackets, muscular men wearing studs, etc. Just by talking to them, I really couldn't tell.
This was the second gayish party I've ever been to, and the first one I wasn't prepared for. I remember when I used to be homophobic. Now I believe that my aesthetic aversion to (male) homosexuality is equivalent to my aesthetic aversion to dick-in-pussy sex when it was first described to me at around age 6 (I thought it was bullshit): I'm just not accustomed to the idea.
