MediaWiki transclusion

guslI've created all kinds of ToDo lists on my wiki front page.
Some of the ToDo lists have their own page, whose contents also get displayed in the front page through transclusions. Unfortunately, said transclusions are not very smart:
* a Major Title doesn't get shrunk to the right size.
* one should have the option of truncating transcluded pages that are too long, e.g. with an ellipsis link.
Such features should be required of a true Content Management System.
