I got a bug yesterday. Or to be more precise, I got a virus due to a security hole.

First I had my stomach upset (diarrhoea and vomiting) and later a fever. So I starved the fever, and stayed in bed the whole evening yesterday... getting up about hourly during the night.

Surprisingly, the GRE went well. I got an 800 in Quantitative, 570 Verbal and I'm expecting something between 4.5 and 5.5 for the Writing section. My verbal score was higher than 78% of college seniors / graduates taking it.

I hate ETS for a few reasons, but the fact that they wasted 30 minutes of intense mental effort from a sick me should be enough... they always give an extra section at the end, for their own research purposes, and don't tell you it's optional.

Anyway, Arnhem is kinda nice, with a reasonably-sized commercial center.

28h after feeling lousy (33h after the first symptoms), I'm feeling much better. Hardly a fever to speak of, and a just slightly upset stomach. Apples and bananas was all I ate for 30 hours, and it should keep me going for now.

I am applying to RPI Cognitive Science.

Verbal passages suck... I could do better if I just focus on them properly for two minutes instead of skimming them.
