Last Friday, me and Henrik witnessed the legendary Amsterdam bike theft firsthand.
The bike had a shitty, spine-like 8Euro lock (the kind I used on my first bike, which lasted exactly 28 hours) and the junkie was using some kind of prying tool. I think in our subjective experience, it took him about 10 seconds before he rode away on it. A police bike rode right past in the middle of it, and saw nothing.
Tai Chi is kinda boring, so since the teacher is asking for the payment with 3 months in advance, I think this is a good time to quit.
On the other hand, fencing is quite fun. And amazingly cheap: I paid 31 Euros for the season, and I even got an individual lesson this week, since everyone else was away.
I'm still a bit tired and congested from the flu. It's been 10 days that I've had it. It sucks.
