Nov. 1st, 2001 05:18 pmAs I woke up this morning, it dawned to me that it's been 5 months since I graduated from college. It's amazing how fast it went. I have very vivid and detailed memories of Bucknell... and if I live to 64, I already lived 1% of my remaining lifetime... which really is a LOT...
Time really starts passing quickly as you get older. In my childhood, 5 months was eternity... maybe that's because I enjoy life more now... so it passes quickly.
I would like to draw a graph here... of perception of time versus real time. We don't know how it starts out (can you remember how you perceived time as a baby?), but from age 5 down, it just gets lower... asymptotically converging to a constant (maybe zero)... I'll tell you the limit when I'm infinitely old. (According to my graph, it won't take that long, from my point of view)
