back pain; bike
Aug. 25th, 2005 07:17 pmToday I got a biofeedback device.
It's called "back pain". It makes me very aware of when my lower back is in certain positions... I have no idea if it's muscular or bone-related.
And I felt it just as I was trying to fix my derailed bike. I was ok... just too late to sort out my library problems.

Date: 2005-08-25 07:25 pm (UTC)it sounds like a machine that would be very useful for me and my neck. I've noticed that when I stop turning my head at all my shoulde rpaind (from an impinged nerve in my upper thoracic) goes away, but I look funny. It'd be nice to just get a great posture going on by using feedback.
Did you get a perscritpion for the machine or how'd you find out about it?

My current machine is called "my nervous system" and the medium of feedback is called "pain". I'm learning quite efficiently to avoid the movements that trigger this pain. I'm not sure whether it's a good program in the long run, although it probably is (although I have no idea what caused it in the first place).
In any case, my nervous system will hopefully stop giving me this feedback in a day or two.
