Do you read me?

If you read me on a regular/semi regular basis, leave me a comment and let me know.

Then post this in your journal and find out who reads you. You'll be surprised how many different people read you, and you never know who you might become friends with.

I know "exactly" who reads me, when they read me, and where they are when they read me, because my blog is Password protected.

It logs IP address, cross references it to location, and a database of friends.

This next checks on the Nexus database and if one's credit rating is good, I continue to let them read my entries.

Speaking of which, don't forget to go to the dentist.

Is this knowledge processed automatically, or do you have to do the work yourself, of looking up friends' locations, etc?

My IP locate service isn't very good... besides, people can mask their IP.

my blog is Password protected.

That has the disadvantage that your site won't be read by random people who you email. It may seem creepy to just invite people to your site... most people would be hesitant to ask for a password.

I can almost believe you here.

Automatic.
Anyone smart enough to mask their IP is smart enough to read my blog.
I don't want strangers reading my site.
Nexus...dry humour...
