proof that NYC is tiny

guslToday I ran into:
* Laure, who I know from NYC, at Prince St in SoHo.
* Yrjö, who I know from Columbia, at the tunnel 14th St tunnel.
* Cassie, who I remember from Bucknell, at corner of 120th + Broadway.
* one more person, who I know from Boston, near West 4th station... I won't say her name here since I'm not 100% sure it was her. UPDATE: it was Silvia, indeed.
4 is a very large number even for Vancouver.
Alternative explanations:
* I've spent much of my life on this coast.
* My memory for faces seems to be unusually good.
