guslweird new 3D display technology that seems to use a kind of TENS machine to make you close your eyes alternately.
Why didn't hologram displays, à la Time Traveler, catch on? They really seemed like TheRightThing. (IIRC, this trailer already sounded corny back in 1992, when I played it during a visit to South Africa.)
