shocked by racism

In my life, I had never seen such naked racism as I saw today, for 5 minutes in Times Square, by a group of mostly black supremacists in funny clothing and stars of David, who consider Black and Hispanic people as the legitimate descendants of the lost tribes of Israel, and who believe that God encourages hatred towards white people: "white people can't change!". As they read from their Bibles, I kept waiting for the punchline... but all I got was more hateful garbage.

An indignant young Indo-Guyanese man was loudly arguing with them, and was verbally attacked with an ad-ethniem argument.

I have to say, I couldn't help smiling at seeing these nutjobs and the utter ridiculousness of their cult. Of course, it is no more ridiculous than a white supremacist group, but I don't think I would smile at the latter... because their history is too recent.
