Wolfram Alpha
Jul. 20th, 2010 05:54 pmI have finally had an opportunity to use Wolfram Alpha productively, as I wanted to plot a locus. I'm thankful that I don't have to buy Mathematica.
The positive quadrant of http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=x^2*y^2+%3D+1 is a hyperbola, as some trivial math shows, although Alpha doesn't recognize it as such.
