subletting in East Van?
May. 3rd, 2010 10:04 pmToday I've been seeing how dead UBC is over the Summer. Most people go away, campus clubs adjourn, lecture series stop, and the commerce adjusts accordingly. Last summer I was away for 1.5 months, so it wasn't so bad (still, I should browse my journal a bit, to see how quickly I adapted this change a year ago today). Since I'm done with my last class, I will only need to come here once a week for meetings with my supervisor.
I think it's simply more convenient to live in East Van. Being close to the beach isn't enough consolation. Moving now means that my move to New York happens in two stages.
... so I think I'd like to find a summer sublet in East Van ASAP (no later than June 1).
Should I go for:
* Commercial Drive
* Main St
* Other?
