Ubuntu ToDo
Feb. 28th, 2009 01:14 pm* get wireless to work
* get cedilla: Ubuntu's US-Intl keyboards have "ć", but not "ç".
* get tablet pen to work: so far I've verified that some device can see the pen.
* shell closing weirdness: this sequence of commands causes my shell to die: (1) vim (2) xemacs &
* install programming tools. OcaIDE (Ocaml plug-in for Eclipse) looks shiny. (Tangentially, I am tempted to free my code by replacing Matlab with NumPy, but that comes with a high price; converting to Octave compatibility would be cheaper, but Octave feels less usable, and maybe it has less of a future)
Luxury:
* It would be nice if my Ubuntu Firefox and my Windows Firefox shared bookmarks.
