front door lock stopped working, fixed

Very scary. Cemllyn borrowed the neighbor's ladder and got in through the balcony. Problem seems solved. Unexplained. I worry that it may recur.



Writing to my old landlord on Tue, Mar 7, 2006 ... after almost sleeping at my hospitable pianist neighbor's apartment.

certain state, turning the key locks the lock whether you turn it to

i've had it happen before where i just all of a sudden can't unlock my door all because i'm thinking about it too hard. it may be that there's some trick you normally employ unconsciously and you just couldn't come up with it on the spot, with all that pressure :)
