European World Of Bluegrass 2004
Jun. 6th, 2004 11:51 pmSo I went to the European World Of Bluegrass 2004, which was excellent.
It included camping for the first time (I slept a terrible two nights), and meeting asocial Czech people.
The biggest highlight for me was Trio Vibração, a DAWG-style band which also plays Choro, Gypsy Jazz and fusions of the above. Oliver Waitze, in particular, impressed the crowd by playing both guitar and violin, both magnificiently, on the same tune.
