Today was the warmest day in many weeks. When I left the house in the morning, I took my shirt off, and probably got a lot of looks, as I rode uncovered. I went to Killian Court, where I played football with some TEF kids & alumni.
I bought a shoulder rest for the fiddle at Rayburn's in Boston's music strip. Then I went to Berklee Books where I got a videotape of bluegrass fiddle technique and licks. From there I went to a game store, The Compleat Strategist, where I bought Taboo. Then I had dinner at Berklee... I was probably taken for one of them, since I had the fiddle on my back. It had been a long time since I'd eaten a cafeteria dinner... it's nice not having to cook.
From there I biked to the Salon. It was about Mental Health. We spent a long time discussing definitions, and speculating way over our heads, while keeping to Rand's perspective, as though she knows better. But it was fun, as usual.
At about 12:20am, I started biking back to Porter. It was chilly, but I made it ok with only my shorts and T-shirt. It was a 20-minute ride. Checking the temperature at home, it was 8C! (50F)
Sight of the day:
TV sitting outside of the 529. The screen was painted in capital letters: "PISS YOUR LIFE AWAY".
