Hopefully, I'll have my passport back by then! If I don't get it in the next two weeks or so, I'm going to get pretty antsy.

If they were to return my passport without the visa, then I'd need to travel to Brazil in August, incurring big costs and losing research time at CMU, and I'd almost surely be late for my first semester at UBC.
