Easy Grafitti Strokes
Oct. 24th, 2003 04:41 pmAfter 4 years of using Palm Grafitti(TM), I find out about this! It's perhaps surprising that I never figured out these shortcuts, except for 2 or 3. Old habits die hard, but I'm adaptable.

What INTPs do in bars

This is so me. That's why I don't go to bars for its own sake. I need some kind of stimulation, be it good music (to listen to, not as background: preferable live, and preferabler if I get to play), interesting conversation (quite rare, unless I'm with the right people). Another source of stimulation is the challenge of approaching strangers (another reason to go places alone): it can be cool to play the social game, to try to impress people, etc. because I'm breaking a social boundary. But most of the time, I spend my time doing one (or more) of the above. Oh, and of course, speaking Dutch is usually a stimulus in itself.
I have to give Harry (devilish@yahoo.com) credit for these
1. Reinforcing the wall or other supporting structure by heavy leaning
2. Vulcan/Spock impersonation
3. Buckingham Palace guard practice
4. Counting lights/floor tiles/beer bottles/balls on or off the pool table
5. Guarding the snack machine
6. Finding the 'stagnation points' in the traffic flow streamlines
7. Mental tensor calculus
8. Inspecting the washroom
9. Intently reading signs/posters/labels, no matter how trivial the material
10. Creating geometrical sculptures out of bar straws
