guslToo many things have happened since my last post.
I spent a night in Port Moody, and another in Brooklyn. I worried about my computer, after my MBR was damaged as a result of booting to my rootkitted Windows, but this is solved now (don't boot Windows ever again!). Today, after some interpersonal stress, junk food, taxiing, and sweat, I have finally managed to move in, and claimed a cubicle in my office.
Now I need to test my wireless Internet, get a photo ID, check in with International Office folks, and submit the final version of my UBC thesis.

UPDATE:
* at the office, wireless Internet works, I didn't even need to use the ID. Wired Internet works too.
* at home, only wired Internet is working.
* submit work orders about flickering lights, clogged bathtub.
