Bishop also has a cool paper showing Turbo Coding to be a special case of Belief Propagation. They provide an algorithm that has better convergence properties than Pearl's BP as well.

I've been thinking about Chaitin again, for the first time in quite awhile. I'm glad for the link.

On the other hand, I should probably wait 5 weeks for my classes to end before getting absorbed in that.
